Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O'Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at the Athenaeum on the first Friday afternoon of each month at 3.00pm: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café serving home-made cakes, where you can meet friends for a chat after the concert (c3.45 - 4.15pm)

March's concert is a collection of music by women composers to mark International Women's Day (8th March). The programme includes the Phantasy Trio by Irish composer Joan Trimble, and works by Rosalind Ellicott, Elfrida Andrée, Adela Maddison, Dora Pejacevic and Clara Schumann.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by donation, with a retiring collection.
