VisitWiltshire is part of the Great West Way, established as a business led private/public sector partnership organisation. VisitWiltshire’s role is to grow the county’s visitor economy by raising awareness of the destination, tourism management and development, and generating additional tourism visits and spend across the county and throughout the year. VisitWiltshire is a trading arm of Great West Way Ltd and the official Local Visitor Economy Partnership organisation for Wiltshire.
VisitWiltshire works with 400 investing tourism businesses from all sectors of the visitor economy across the whole of Wiltshire and beyond. The company’s activity and services include providing a range of online and offline marketing routes to market, managing national and international promotional campaigns, Group and Travel Trade, Press & PR, business support, industry communication, 1:1 business advice, research and industry insight, advocacy, training opportunities and networking events.
Wiltshire’s visitor economy generates £1.5billion in visitor spend from 20million visitors per annum, supporting 29,000 jobs, 9% of Wiltshire’s GVA.
