Warminster lies on the edge of the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which provides plenty of opportunities for cycling and walking activities.
Warminster is a friendly market town with many fine buildings a variety of independent shops and cafes and the Athenaeum Theatre.
A visit to the Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds is a must with something for the whole family to enjoy.
An exciting new splash pad with tipping buckets, water cannon and a baby pool with sluice gate are the latest addition to the fantastic facilities. Play areas include a lava trail with a trampoline, skate park, tennis courts, and if you are visiting during the weekends or school holidays you can hire a rowing boat or canoe on the boating lake.
Recharge your batteries at the Pavilion Café which offers a range of drinks, snacks, and ice creams. Then stroll around the beautiful boating lake which is abundant with wildlife.
