Wiltshire along the Water
Wiltshire is covered in historic waterways including the River Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal. Perhaps you’d like to soak up the sun in one of our riverside pub gardens? You can even hire canoes and kayaks from certain points along the way or join in on a boat cruise. A great walk is up the Caen Hill Lock, a 2-mile stretch overlooking the breath-taking Kennet and Avon Canal and Devizes town.
In the north of the county at the Cotswold Water Park try your hand at boating, hiring a pedalo or some more adventurous water sports. There’s even a lakeside beach! If you want something a little more tranquil then why not visit one of our hotels with outdoor swimming pools and spas?
