1. Salisbury to Stonehenge
Cycle along the Woodford Valley and along various bridleways from Salisbury to the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge.
2. Kennet & Avon Canal
Pick up the Kennet & Avon Canal at Pewsey, Devizes or Bradford on Avon and cycle along the tow path. Enjoy traffic-free cycling and tranquil views.
3. Salisbury’s Golden Way
Within Salisbury, The Golden Way is a circular route linking off-road cycle paths as well as taking in sections along the River Avon.
4. Wiltshire Cycleway
Whether you want to ride the whole length of the cycleway or sections, this route will give you opportunities to see a lot of the county on your bike.
5. Cotswold Water Park
The Water Park offers flat, off-road cycling routes around some of the lakes. National Cycle Route 45 also goes right through the Park.

With off-road dirt tracks and jump areas, this bike park sits just south of Tidworth.
7. The Chalke and Wylye Valleys
Travel through the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on your bike passing through pretty villages, along winding lanes and for some spectacular views.
8. The Ridgeway – a lot of it is bridleway so you can cycle along it
A lot of The Ridgeway national trail is made up of bridleway, opening it up for excellent mountain bike opportunities.
9. National Cycle Way route 403 Calne to Avebury
Step back in time and journey into Avebury Stone Circle, forming part of the World Heritage Site with Stonehenge.
10. Join in on one of the organised cycling events
Whether you fancy the Wiltshire 100, the Wildcat Sportive or perhaps a shorter circuit, there are cycling events throughout the year here in Wiltshire.
