Sports Events in Wiltshire

If you love the great outdoors and fitness then Wiltshire is an ideal spot for enjoying a sporting event from triathlons through to horse trials, there are lots of choices on offer.

Running events

With beautiful countryside to explore it comes as no surprise that there are lots of running events that take place in Wiltshire. From local Park Runs, the Salisbury 10 mile race or the Tidworth 10k through to the Lacock 10k and even some half and full marathons – there is something for all running abilities.

Cycling events in Wiltshire

Look out for professional cycling events across the county through to ones for those just starting out at cycling. Annual events include Cycle Wiltshire, the Wiltshire Wildcat and Wiltshire 100.

Horse Trials

Head to Wilton estate for their annual horse trials and keen equestrians will love the Barbury International Horse Trials which usually takes place in early summer. Just a short hop across the Wiltshire border is Badminton – home to the world-famous horse trials.

Walking events
