About

 The Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team provides adventurous activities across Wiltshire.  Activities can be delivered at a local venue suitable for the group or at our base at Brokerswood Country / Holiday Park (BA13 4EH) – situated between Westbury and Trowbridge  We have a range of dynamic, qualified instructors who aim to make every activity challenging, involving a level of team or personal development, educational and FUN!  We regularly work with school groups, corporate groups, youth groups as well as families and one to one coaching.  From A to Z  we deliver:  abseiling, archery, axe throwing, Battle zone Archery, Bush craft courses, Canoeing , First Aid Courses, Fishing (catch it, cook it and eat it!), Forest Schools, Kayaking, High Ropes Courses, Laser Tag, a Mobile Climbing Wall, Mountain biking guides, Orienteering, Raft building, Stand Up Paddling Boards, The Tarzan Trail tree tops course, Tree Climbing,, Zip wires and the Zombie Apocalypse Team Challenge.

 

Water sports:  Canoeing / Kayaking / Raft building / Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUPs):  We are able to supply all kit needed for you to learn and enjoy a chance to explore rivers and canals around Wiltshire. 

 

Tree Climbing / Tarzan Trail / High Ropes:  Come and experience life in the trees at our Brokerswood Holiday Park base (BA13 4EF).  The Tarzan Trail (similar to a go-ape) runs most afternoons during school holiday periods and weekends from April – October.  Bring a group over to challenge themselves on our  Jacob’s Ladder and Crate Stack challenges.

 

Archery:  we are able to run archery sessions at sites across Wiltshire and also run daily sessions during school holiday periods at our Brokerswood Holiday Park site (BA13 4EF) at 1000. 

 

Battlezone Archery and Laser Tag:  These activities bring combat to a next level!  The Battlezone Archery is similar to paintball but using bows and arrows – the perfect way to develop those archery skills.  The Lasertag is set in 40 acres of woodland – amazing fun for all aged 7 and above!

 

Climbing:  we have a mobile climbing wall that can be set up a locations around Wiltshire.  If you are keen to develop your  rock climbing skills we run regular climbing coaching courses.  All  it is supplied.

 

Zombie Apocalypse:  The ultimate team challenge.  Set in 40 acres of woodland – with two challenges – one base don THE WALKING DEAD, the other on 28 DAYS LATER.  Includes a bbq and refreshments.  Minimum group size is 10

 

Bushcraft / Survival skills:  Want to learn some basic bushcraft and survival skills.  Ranging from a 3 hour session to a weekend sleeping out in the woods.

 

Forest Schools:  run every school day at our base at Roundwood (BA13 4EF) 

 

Mountainbiking:  Wiltshire has FANTASTIC mountainbiking.  We are able to offer all equipment needed plus fully qualified coaches for you to explore and enjoy.
