About
This award-winning Palestinian singer, composer, and flutist blends jazz and Arabic music through her distinct vocal technique. Known for rearranging classics for distinguished artists like Umm Kulthum and Fairuz, Nai's performed globally. She now returns for her 2025 UK tour debut at Wiltshire Music Centre.
With a layered ornamental technique that uses her voice as a musical instrument, Nai brings a genre-defying link between Jazz and Arabic music. Along with her Amsterdam-based quartet, she's renowned for her stunning rearrangements of iconic pieces as well as original work well rooted in Arabic maqams, Jazz and classical western music.
From her first stage appearances at the age of 14, Nai has gone to fill concert halls across the world. From Egypt to France, to the UN headquarters in New York, and selling out two London shows last year as part of the EFG Jazz Festival 2023. Nai returns to the UK for a full UK tour performing at Wiltshire Music Centre for the first time,
