MUSIC FOR GOOD FRIDAY
Breathe Music presents: Haydn's The Seven Last Words of Christ
A Night of Profound Musical Reflection
Join us at 6pm on Good Friday (18th April) in the unique venue of The Crown, Pilton, to hear Joseph Haydn's The Seven Last Words of Our Saviour on the Cross in its string quartet edition, performed by the Breathe Ensemble, with special guest violinist Magnus Johnston, Concert Master of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House.
The Crown is a unique venue that our audiences love. Capacity is only 80 seats so don't wait to book. Our last event here sold out.
After the 70 minute performance, mingle with the musicians and other audience members over drinks, or book a dinner reservation direct with the Crown.
Why Attend?
This concert is more than just a performance; it's a journey through sorrow, hope, and timeless beauty. Haydn considered this piece one of his greatest masterpieces, and it continues to move audiences over 200 years later.
