About
A debut recital with classical elegance and romantic passion
George Harliono piano
HAYDN Sonata in E minor Hob XVI/34
BRAHMS Intermezzo in A Major Op 118 No 2
SCHUMANN Symphonic Etudes Op 13
A prize winner at Moscow's Grand Piano Competition, George Harliono is carving out a reputation as a versatile and stylish performer. In his WMC debut he pairs the refinement of Haydn's early pianoforte sonata with the intensity of Schumann's Symphonic Etudes. At the heart of the recital is Brahms' much-loved Intermezzo in A Major which brings brightness and contrast to this exciting programme.
