About
Lord Margadale is kindly opening his gardens on Sunday 27th April 2025 between 12pm - 5pm in aid of Salisbury Hospice Charity.
Amongst so many other things, you'll find a no dig kitchen garden, beautiful herbaceous beds with Tulips, Agapanthus, Delphiniums & Euphorbias to name but a few. Then there'll be the Cherry blossom to marvel over, the Cornus trees hopefully in full glorious flower, the magnificent Magnolias, Rhododendrons, Camellias, Azaleas & Acacias, not forgetting of course the bluebells that will be awash under the trees (fingers crossed) as you drive up to the house. There is also small a selection of old and new sculptures including a water feature by William Pye (almost identical to the one in Salisbury Cathedral which is also a working font). Unfortunately, there is restricted wheelchair access.
There will be some wonderful stalls selling a range of different items and some delicious refreshments from Sol Bakery and a wine stall.
Entrance is £10 per person if booked in advance via Eventbrite, £12 on the gate and children can go free.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads.
