Join us for a charity dog walk!
We are excited to share that we will host a series of community dog walks, with the first in aid of Leash of Life.
Kicking off with the first walk on Saturday 5 April 2025, we want to bring together local dog walkers for a fun, social outing within one of Wiltshire's areas of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) for a morning of fresh air, exercise, and local knowledge of the area - all for a fantastic cause!
Each walking group will meet at 9.30am at The White Horse Inn to kick-start the outing with homemade bacon baps and a hot drink for a suggested donation of £5, or more, with the proceeds going to the dog rescue charity, Leash of Life.
The dog walk will leave the pub at 10am for a four-mile excursion around the stunning countryside surrounding Compton Bassett, back in time for 12pm should walkers like to stay for a spot of lunch – dogs welcome too, of course!
This is a lovely opportunity to get out and about with the dogs and give back to a fantastic charity in the process.
