Set to the magical, candlelit backdrop of the beautifully converted church barn within Belcombe Court's grounds, this fundraising concert will be led by virtuoso harpsichordist Oliver-John Ruthven and his small instrumental ensemble.

If Opera are delighted to present star soprano, Lucy Knight (fresh from Carnegie Hall) and International Handel Singing Competition finalist, mezzo soprano, Melissa Gregory for an evening of virtuosity and elegance, pride and vulnerability, tenderness and passion. Alongside the works of Handel, Cavalli, Bach and Purcell, they celebrate the 450th anniversary of Monteverdi's birth with one of opera's most intimate and blissful expressions of romantic love, Pur ti miro.

Drinks and canapés will be served before guests take their seats for the concert.
