City Encounters
Join many others in introducing the original Salisbury Giant to a new friend, Patch, at this year’s Salisbury International Arts Festival. Parading down Milford Street, music, dance, and song will bring Patch into the Market Square, welcoming the start of the City Encounters weekend, commencing the two-week festival.
North Wessex Downs Walking Festival
The North Wessex Downs National Landscape first became a protected landscape in 1972 and now, you can celebrate the anniversary each year by exploring over 25 walking trails. Discover wildlife, history, and culture as you soak up some of the most breath-taking views from atop the downs this month.

Spring in the Park
Set in Warminster’s Lake Pleasure Grounds is this years Spring in the Park. There will be multiple stalls, musical entertainment, food and drink and local charities offering a range of other fun activities! Prizes can also be run at the return of the dog show, as well as a tug of war competition.
Duck Race 2024
Rescheduled to its new date this month is Bradford on Avon’s annual Duck Race. Head to town as thousands watch in anticipation and excitement for the annual tradition. Prizes include a range of experiences including swimming lessons, sweet treats, coffee for 2 and vouchers.
May Day Madness
