Alternatively, you can handpick your perfect pumpkin this Halloween at Pumpkin Picking Patch near Fordingbridge, just over the border in Hampshire (and an easy drive from Salisbury). Pumpkin Picking Patch has thousands of pumpkins to choose from, as well as lots of family-friendly Halloween activities and crafts for kids to take part in. And there's even more pumpkin fun to be had at the Halloween Half Term Spooktacular at Cholderton Charlie's Rare Breeds Farm. Expect pumpkin picking, fancy dress parades and a special Kids Halloween Party on Saturday 26 October.
Have a Grown Up Halloween
Does Halloween have to be all about family activities and trick-or-treating? Of course not! The beautiful Bowood Estate near Calne will be hosting one of Wiltshire's most exclusive Halloween parties this year. The Halloween Ball at Bowood Hotel is the perfect option for a grown-up Halloween night out. Dress up in your most terrifying finery for a night of great music and delicious food and drink with plenty of spooky twists.

With ancient standing stones, ruined castles and thousands of years of history, Wiltshire has plenty of spooky spots to explore this Halloween.
