The VisitWiltshire, Castle Cameras and Newsquest photography competition this year saw some fantastic entries and thank you to all that took part. All the photos are to incorporate the theme of timeless places, nature, pleasures and wonders in the beautiful county of Wiltshire. With so many entries and a brilliant selection of photos featuring the timeless places it made it a tough decision to pick the winner and runners up, but here they are!

Annetta’s photo of the Bratton Camp and Westbury White Horse shows a very unique part of the Wiltshire countryside, in total there are 8 white horses carved into the hillside, Westbury can be seen from the main road coming into the town and it’s a great place for photography especially at sunrise! Definitely worth the early morning to create a photo like this!
