Tell us a bit about yourself and your role at Wyvern Theatre

My name is Chris and I have worked at the Wyvern for many years in several different departments.

I am currently the Ticket Office Manager at the Wyvern Theatre. I am responsible getting all shows on sale as soon as possible as well as making sure details are accurate with times and prices. I manage a small team of cashiers who are always busy selling tickets to customers both over the phone and in person as well as looking after any online bookings. The hours are varied as we open in the morning right through to the start of an evening show. We manage both The Wyvern Theatre and Arts Centre so always very busy.

What do you like best about your role there?

I really enjoy the Ticket Office as it is always very busy with no two days the same. It’s great to get to know our regular customers as well as new ones and it’s very exciting finding out about all the new shows that are coming to the theatre.

Where are your favourite places to visit in Wiltshire and why?

One of my Favourite places in Wiltshire is Avebury with its interesting history, I also really enjoy walking and there are lots of walks in the area, particularly around Coate Water and through to Chiseldon.

Lacock is also a lovely village to visit which is not too far away.

Do you have any hidden Wiltshire gems that you’d like to share with our readers?

The Canal that runs from Kingshill Road to Waitrose is a particular favourite of mine.

Where’s your favourite Wiltshire picnic spot?

It has to be Avebury, by the stones.

Where are your favourite places to eat out in Wiltshire and why?

I like the Village Inn at Liddington, The Brewers in Wanborough and the Red Lion at Avebury all of which offer traditional food.

I needed an app to kill some time during my daily bus rides. I was searching for something that wasn’t complicated but could keep me engaged. That’s when I came across https://mega-moolah-vietnam.com/app/. It’s super easy to get into, and the bonuses are what really make it stand out. They’ve got daily rewards, special offers, and even free spins that you can use to make it more exciting.
