Are you stuck for ideas on what to get your Mum for Mother’s Day? Perhaps you’d like to do something other than the traditional flowers and chocolates? We’ve asked around the office and put together a list of some great places that you can take your Mum this Mother’s Day in Wiltshire:

Stourhead gardens

One of my Mum’s favourite National Trust properties. We’ve regularly visited Stourhead for Mother and daughter time! Any time makes a nice time to visit Stourhead as the gardens are well-known for their changing colours, particularly in autumn but spring brings with it daffodils on the lawns leading to the lake, fresh walks and of course a good old visit to the café after for a cream tea!

Lacock

Why not take your Mum to ‘Wolf Hall’... well, one of the filming locations for it anyway! Discover Lacock Abbey with its spring flowers, lambs in nearby fields, the beautiful cloisters and the pretty village. Why not treat Mum to lunch At The Sign of the Angel or one of the other historic pubs within the village.

Spa days and packages

Treat Mum to a visit to one of our Wiltshire spa hotels. With day packages and overnight packages often available why not indulge in the ultimate pampering experience? Bliss!

Enjoy a spot of designer shopping

Head to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Swindon and search for a new outfit in one of the many outlet stores. Discover the newly opened restaurants onsite and browse in stores including LK Bennett, John Lewis Home Outlet and Hobbs.

Get Mum free entry to Roves Farm

Just outside Swindon is Roves Farm. For Mother’s Day the farm will be offering mums free entry with a paying child! See the start of their charity animal racing season and meet some of the farm’s latest arrivals.
