We're back again with yet another free living history event!
This week, we're stepping back in time to the First World War with our 'WWI Weekend'!
Come and join the 'Great War' at The Wardrobe as First World War re-enactors from The Great War Society Living History Group provide you with a glimpse of life in the trenches. From weaponry and equipment to uniform and medical care, our groups will be showing you what it was like to serve in the British Army from 1914-1918.
They'll also be taking you through soldier's training, so if you've ever wondered what how soldiers prepared for the war, you wont want to miss this!
We'll be open on both the Saturday and Sunday, so come and drop in during our opening hours, 10am-5pm, (last entry 4:15pm). No booking is necessary and the event is completely free.
