About
For five days in July, Swindon plays host to an independent film festival. Showcasing films submitted to the festival during the season, celebrating the creativity and skill of filmmakers, actors, directors, producers, and everyone who is involved in making films.
2023's festival brings with it a new look and a new feel, including new festival directors. Despite some things changing, we always have the same admiration for the films shown and the people who have made them.
Swindon has a rich history linked to films and filmmakers and the Independent Film Festival aims to continue to showcase the best of Swindon's film scene.
The festival will take place during the last week of July, showing a number of films each evening throughout the week. Doors open at 6 pm each evening with screenings finishing by 10:30 pm. The film festival will take place at Artsite in Theatre Square.
The festival has tickets available for each night selling at £8.50 for adults and £5.00 for concession tickets.
