- Introduction to Linocut: the history and techniques, as well as contemporary artists
- The essential materials and tools used, including linoleum blocks, carving tools, and inks
- The principles of design and composition, allowing you to create visually compelling prints
- Methods for transferring your design onto lino
- Carving and mark-making techniques - including 'jigsaw'
- Colour application - including inking techniques and chine collé
- Preparing the block, to pulling prints and registration methods
- Print using a relief press and burnishing by hand for successful prints at home.
- Studio safety and best practices when handling linocut tools and operating presses.
Whether you're a beginner or looking to expand or improve your relief printmaking, this hands-on weekend course provides the tools and techniques, whilst encouraging you to experiment and explore.

Where is the course held?
At my studio in Rowde near to Devizes in Wiltshire - Studio address: Furlong Close, Rowde, Devizes, Wiltshire, SN10 2TQ
There is plenty of free parking, the studio is surrounded by countryside in a peaceful location. Access is also possible via public transport (walking distance from nearest bus stop), it is also a short walk from Caen Hill Locks.
