There's lots of half term fun on offer at the Army Flying Museum, including fun Code Cracking activities every day between 10am and 12.30pm from Monday 17th to Friday 21st February. You can also find out about amazing secret agents and spies from the Second World War with a fun trail around the Museum which is available throughout half term.
Go on a 'Jigsaw Journey' between 10:00 and 14:00 on Tuesday 18th February and discover the history and craft of wooden jigsaw puzzles, plus try your hand at assembling some of the puzzles!
Meet the team from Wessex Archaeology on Wednesday 19th February between 10:00 and 14:00 and explore the wreck of a 1940s aircraft through an immersive Virtual Reality reconstruction of the Fairey Barracuda aircraft remains recovered at Lee-on-Solent, Hampshire in 2019.
On Saturday 15th and Thursday 20th February, Models for Heroes will be holding one of their popular model making sessions for all ages in the Museum. Come along between 10:00 and 15:00 for the chance to make and paint your very own scale plastic model under their expert guidance, which you can then take home with you.
There will also be the opportunity to discover some of the objects from the Museum's handling collection between 10:00 and 13:00 on Thursday 20th February.
All holiday activities are included with a general admission ticket which gives visitors a free annual pass to the Museum – you can save money by booking online! Pre-booking is recommended to avoid disappointment at busy times.
