About
An exhibition featuring the work of UK's leading portrait and figure painter David Cobley and ceramicist Janene Waudby who specialises in smoke-fired sculptural pieces.
David Cobley has undertaken numerous portrait commissions. These include: The Princess Royal Princess Anne, Ken Dodd OBE, Steven Berkoff and in 2019 the BBC asked Cobley to undertake a painting of Sir David Attenborough as a celebration of his life in broadcasting. But David is equally talented as a successful artist of Still Life and Landscape paintings.
Janene aims to make pieces which are as authentically natural and beautiful as nature itself. Each vessel is tactile and warmer to the touch than glazed ceramics, feeling more like skin than stone.
Open Tues - Sat 10am - 5pm
