Enjoy egg-citing Easter themed craft activities and a fun trail at the Army Flying Museum this Easter school holidays! There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt between Friday 18th and Monday 21st April with a £1 charge per participant. Be on the look out for a golden egg which will be hidden in the Museum each day over the Easter weekend, giving visitors the chance to win a family ticket to a local attraction.
On Tuesday 8th and Sunday 13th April, Models for Heroes will be holding a model making sessions for all ages between 10:00 and 15:00. Don't miss the chance to make and paint your very own scale plastic model under their expert guidance which you can then take home with you.
Discover the ancient craft of wildflower seed bomb making with Spaces For Growing on Wednesday 9th April between 10:00 and 14:00.
Take a virtual walk around an Apache helicopter with the Museum's VR headsets on Thursday 10th April between 10:00 and 13:00.
Crazy Creatures will be in the Museum on Thursday 17th April between 10:00 and 14:00 giving visitors the chance to find out how reptiles, amphibians and insects use camouflage to survive in the wild.
All the holiday activities (apart from the Easter Egg Hunt which has a £1 charge per participant) are included with a general admission ticket to the Museum, which gives visitors a free annual pass – save money by booking online!
