Join us for our annual 'Be A Chorister For A Day' on Saturday 12 October 2024! This informal and fun day is an exciting opportunity for girls and boys in Years 2, 3 and 4 to gain first-hand experience of being a chorister at Salisbury Cathedral. Our choristers represent centuries of musical heritage and are an integral part of worship at our Cathedral. They sing regular services at the Cathedral, as well as in national and international concerts, and on recordings, broadcasts and tours. As pupils of Salisbury Cathedral School, choristers benefit from an exceptional academic environment.
We welcome enquiries from pupils in school years 2, 3 and 4. Prospective choristers are initially invited for a pre-audition. Successful candidates will be invited to attend voice trials and sit academic entrance exams. Candidates offered a place as a chorister are automatically considered for a choral scholarship.
