Salisbury Cathedral’s Flower Festival: The Spirit of Water

Taking place from 13-18 May 2025, Salisbury Cathedral are giving away up to 4 tickets to this years Flower Festival: The Spirit of Water, a companion piece to their summer art exhibition ‘Living Water’.

Just as the exhibition explores the power of water, its ability to hold memories and shape the identity of a place, this Festival also takes its inspiration from water in all its different forms. A huge array of arrangements will be installed in the Cathedral – from displays representing ‘a world without water’, to a journey along a ‘river of flowers’ and a display depicting the seabed which will include hundreds of fish made by local community groups.

Fisherton Mill

During your visit to the Medieval City, head over to Fisherton Mill where you and one other person will enjoy a hot drink and cake of your choice amongst England’s largest independent gallery. This award-winning café offers a range of delicious, home-made cakes and coffees, alongside a selection of light lunches.

Surrounding the café, you will find an array of hand-crafted gifts, from sculptures and home décor to colourful clothing. Be sure to venture upstairs to the Galleries, where you will find an entire floor dedicated to exhibiting works from local artists, sculptors, photographers and more!

The Great Bustard
