Enchanted Christmas at Westonbirt

Prepare to be dazzled by an enthralling winter wonderland, filled with sparkling lights, festive sounds, and mesmerising installations! Don’t miss Christmas at Westonbirt Arboretum this December, where the magic of the festive season comes to life in spectacular illuminated fashion! Christmas with National Trust

Immerse yourself in a world of Christmas magic with the National Trust. At Lacock, willow reindeer will be prancing around the garden. The Bakehouse will be ready for Christmas post with a letter writing station and north pole postbox, and you'll find Christmas trees twinkling in every corner.  

Feel the Christmas spirit come to life as you wander through the grand rooms of Stourhead house, decorated with twinkling lights, festive floral arrangements and showstopping trees.  The magical evening light display returns to Stourhead with a sea of light illuminating the lake, huge feathers floating high into the night sky and sparkling tunnels of light.  

Mompesson House in Salisbury has a magical fairytale theme, and Avebury will be hosting Christmas markets, winter archaeology walks and Father Christmas himself.

St Thomas’ Christmas Tree Festival

One of the biggest and best attended events of its type in the UK, St Thomas’ Christmas Tree Festival in Salisbury, celebrates its 20th year this season. Explore up to 100 beautifully decorated trees and nativity scenes, all provided to raise money for our nominated charities!

Festive Film Screening at Salisbury Cathedral

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the Christmas classic, Home Alone, on the big screen in the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral adorned with Advent and Christmas decorations and of course the spectacular Christmas tree; the perfect festive scene. Enjoy cinema treats including popcorn, sweets and refreshments.

Christmas Wreath Making

Get crafty this season with a range of festive wreath making workshops taking place across Wiltshire. These classes are the perfect way to learn how to create something unique for your home this season and is a great way to enjoy the festivities with friends and family!
