Ridgeway Campsite is in a beautiful remote location on an organic farm on the Marlborough Downs. It is a wonderful place to get together with friends and family and escape into the countryside. Unlike other campsites, Ridgeway campsite is private hire only for family groups of up to 20 people so you will have the whole place to yourselves. Children of all ages love it, whether making camps in the woods, playing in the hammocks or climbing onto the giant story telling chair. It is a perfect spot for a digital detox. Ridgeway Campsite is situated in a safe and secluded area of woodland, it is off grid and everything is provided for cooking and eating so all you need to bring is tents and food and drinks.

We have 8 spacious pitches around the camp, 2 compost loos and washing facilities.

There are no hidden extras – wood, charcoal, camping stoves and gas are all included in the price along with tea, coffee and marshmallows. You can cook on the large purpose built BBQ or use the firepit grill.

The landscape is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, home to rare species of plants, birds and butterflies and a wonderful place to explore. The Ridgeway Path and the White Horse way can be reached directly from the campsite.

Avebury World Heritage site with its famous stone circle is right on your doorstep. We have a minimum 2 night stay and booking in advance is essential.
