2 hour workshop
Limited to 8 people per workshop.

What you will learn:

Assess the damaged area and understand the fabric you're about to mend.
Identify complementary/suitable fabric to patch the damaged area.
Prepare the area to be stitched, ensuring durability and movement to the garment.
Future-proof your garments for lifelong wear with this newfound skill.
Workshop Information:

Suitable for ages 16 years and above, beginners, and those who are looking to radicalize their much-loved clothes. Please bring along a torn, worn-out, or damaged item of clothing.

Top Tip: If you do decide to bring an item of clothing, please press your garment before the workshop, it will be a challenge to mend wrinkly fabric.

Bringing an item of clothing along is not essential, as there will be enough fabric provided to make a sample.

Materials:

All tools and equipment are provided, including mending examples and a selection of beautiful vintage fabrics. If you have any needles, threads, embroidery hoops, scissors and/or fabric, please feel free to bring them along.


Please do not bring any waterproof materials, leather, suede clothing, or knitwear.
