Wedding Ideas in Salisbury

Venues you can get married in 

There is quite a selection of venues licensed to hold weddings in and around Salisbury. 
If you are looking for a civil service then the Bourne Hill Register Office sits adjacent to the beautiful Bourne Hill Gardens. The exterior of the building is also a lovely backdrop for your photos.

We have a selection of hotels that have civil licenses for weddings including the centrally-located Red Lion Hotel, the Milford Hall Hotel (which also has its own spa, perfect for a bit of pre-wedding pampering) and the White Hart Hotel. For venues with riverside gardens and views across to Salisbury Cathedral there is the Legacy Rose and Crown Hotel and Grasmere House Hotel, both in the Harnham area of Salisbury.

Other central venues include Salisbury Guildhall, which sits overlooking the bustling Market Place and Guildhall Square, the Medieval Hall (within the Cathedral Close) and the Salisbury Museum. 

Travel slightly further out of the city and you have The Stones Hotel, a modern hotel halfway between Salisbury and Amesbury, historic Old Wardour Castle in the Vale of Wardour and Bluestone Vineyard, which is also home to Cholderton Charlie’s Rare Breeds Farm. You may have seen the latter from its appearance on ‘Don’t Tell the Bride’ on TV! 

Another popular wedding venue in the area are the beautiful Larmer Tree Gardens, which sit in the heart of the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,  to the south of Salisbury.
