About
Join us at Longford Castle to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the charity Horatio's Garden. Longford Castle is the private home of our patron, the Countess of Radnor, who is kindly hosting this event. Longford Castle is one of the grandest estates in Britain and has been the private ancestral seat of the Radnor family for over 300 years. It was built by Elizabeth I chief lady-in-waiting. Visitors will be able to tour Longford Castle's private, spectacular formal gardens whilst absorbing the remarkable architecture and atmosphere of the historic estate. Visitors will also be able to explore the old garden alongside the River Avon. Both gardens are usually closed to the public. Afternoon Tea (included in the ticket price) will be served throughout the afternoon alongside music by Hummingbird. The event will be a unique opportunity to enjoy these spectacular private gardens and to support Horatio's Garden in celebrating 10 years since their first garden opened in Salisbury.
