This 2024, fairy-tales will come alive at Mompesson House as we take you back in time for a magical Victorian Christmas.
Mompesson will be open upstairs and downstairs for Christmas. Fairytales meet a Victorian Christmas in this immersive storytelling experience, perfect for both the young and the young at heart.
Discover the three bears' Christmas feast, follow Hansel's trail to the tea-room and listen to some fairy tales in the Library.
Throughout Christmas we'll have a free activity sheet to keep little minds occupied.
On weekends we'll have free storytelling sessions in the second-hand bookshop in the morning and afternoon.
Our rooms will be decorated and suitable for all ages. Suggested age range 4+.
The tea-room and second-hand bookshop will be open as usual at Mompesson this Christmas. Get cosy with a blanket and hot drink or festive treat in the tea-room and pop in to the bookshop to find a quirky Christmas present.
