VisitWiltshire Familiarisation Passport 2024/25
What it is:
The Familiarisation Passport gives VisitWiltshire Partners, front line and marketing staff (*as well as representatives of other selected groups – please see below) the opportunity to visit attractions, activities and other businesses around the county free or at a reduced charge, or take advantage of alternative offers provided.
The Familiarisation Passport is part of VisitWiltshire’s commitment to in-service training and greater product knowledge. We believe that by knowing at first hand what is available locally we can all work together to help our visitors make the most of their stay, whether they are here for a day, a weekend or longer.
How it works:
There are two parts to the Familiarisation Passport initiative:
• The Familiarisation Passport itself, which lists the names of the attractions, activities and other businesses participating for 2024/25 and has to be presented on arrival at any of them in order to take advantage of their offers.
• A separate Offer PDF giving full details of what these offers are and when they are valid from and to.
Security:
The Familiarisation Passport is password-protected – details of the passwords have been emailed out to the main VisitWiltshire contact at your business, but if you need a reminder please contact fionaerrington@visitwiltshire.co.uk for details.
What you need to do:
• Download a copy of the Familiarisation Passport and print it out. If you are not able to print in colour, a black and white copy is acceptable. You will need to present this on arrival in order to qualify for any of the offers.
• Download a copy of the Offer PDF which tells you in detail what the offers are and when they are available. As these offers are subject to change throughout the year, you are advised to refer back to the Offer PDF for the latest details before any visit. We also recommend you take an up-to-date printout of the Offer PDF with you.
Identification:
• In order to qualify for the offers you will need to fill in your name and business details on the front of the Familiarisation Passport and present it on arrival.
• You may also be asked for identification – if this cannot be provided, admission may unfortunately be refused. If you do not have a business card with your name on, a compliment slip or sheet of letterhead confirming your employment/official volunteer status will be acceptable.
• Only one visit per attraction, activity or business per Passport can be made – on presentation of the Passport on arrival, the name of the attraction, activity or business in question will be ticked off, so that the Passport cannot be used to visit there again.
We hope you will enjoy making the most of your Familiarisation Passport over the coming year and would love to hear how you get on, so don’t forget to send us your pictures and share your experiences on Facebook and Twitter using #timeforwiltshire!
