About
In 2015 The Salisbury Museum acquired the Salisbury Journal photographic archive, which contains in excess of 450,000 images.
Over a seven year period a team of dedicated volunteers carefully digitised the collection. In the current exhibition there is a total of 244 images featured which were selected by Ken Smith. In his talk Ken will explain the process of selecting the images for the exhibition, with insights into some of the selected photographs and the exhibition layout. Ken also raises the discussion on how these images are of Salisbury, but they reflect what was happening throughout the country.
