Hear the Army Medical Services Band perform a special open air concert to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in the Army Flying Museum grounds on Saturday 7th May. Seating and refreshments will be available, or bring a blanket and enjoy your own picnic while listening to an evening of top notch entertainment. The concert starts at 5pm and runs until 6.45pm, with an intermission halfway through. Please note, the concert will take place inside the Museum if weather is inclement. The concert is free to attend but any donations will be gratefully received. Please book your free tickets on the Museum's website.
The Army Medical Services Band has a long history and a reputation of the highest level. The varied membership includes police officers, teachers, company directors, and civil servants undertaking a varied number of engagements throughout the year. As well as supporting military events, dinner nights, concerts, ensemble work and other musical groups, the AMS band perform at the Army Flying Museum twice a year, including the hugely popular Christmas Carol Concert.
