Tony will be delivering his 30 minute presentation in the morning and again in the early afternoon, which will bring the experience of being a Glider pilot alive. Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to hear the story of the Glider Pilot Regiment; discover why we needed gliders and find out who flew them; hear about the training the pilots underwent and learn about some of the Operations they took part in during World War Two. The presentation will take place amongst the Museum's collection of gliders which includes examples of all the Allied gliders used operationally during the Second World War, as well as two training aircraft.
