Fonthill House Charity Garden Open Day
Lord Margadale is kindly opening his gardens on Sunday 11th June 2023 between 12pm - 5pm in aid of the NFRSA, The National Foundation for Retired Service Animals
There are formal areas, an ornamental and organic kitchen garden, mixed planting of shrubs and herbaceous perennials, bulbs and annuals. There is also a small selection of old and new sculptures including a water feature by William Pye. To the north of the house there are wonderful woodland walks with azaleas, magnolias, camellias, rhododendrons, sweet chestnuts and tall majestic oaks.
(Unfortunately, there is restricted wheelchair access in some areas).
There will be some wonderful stalls selling a range of different items, a Service Dog demonstration, a treasure hunt, delicious refreshments throughout the day from Sol Bakery and a wine stall.
Entrance is £10 per person if booked in advance via Eventbrite, £12 on the gate and free for children under 12. Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads.
